PayTaxGPT is part of the Grafedi LLC family of companies. It was originally started by two longterm friends whom both worked in the payroll/business services area . One from a business management standpoint and the other from a technology development standpoint. They both knew it was time to disrupt the status quo. And artificial intelligence was the enabler.

They created a team and started working on this in July 2023. The focus first and foremost was on the Payroll Tax GPT engine. They fully appreciated the complexity of payroll tax issues and how difficult it may be to get the answers to these questions. AI seemed like the perfect way to enable that transformation.

Along the way, they realized that as part of their development of this AI engine they were also enabling other capabilities such as the complete forms repository and the bulletin tracker. They also appreciate the complexity and value of the geospatial calculator. Lastly they wanted to make everything come together very simply and nicely for the end user – thus the development of the overall dashboard that connects together all the pieces.

As they look into the future, they want to continue to disrupt the status quo of the legacy companies in this business. They envision a full-featured Payroll Tax payment engine for use in the US and Canada. They also envision international usage across any and all taxing jurisdictions across the world.
Eventually they can see this breaking out beyond just payroll tax into other tax related fields and other
areas of business services.

The infrastructure they have put together from the web crawling, to the citation/certified sources, to the large language model, to the natural language processing, and to the chatbot/dashboard interface
– provides the enabling components to take this functionality into many different industries. The
future is bright and only getting brighter.
